Understanding financial reporting for small business

Thursday, July 9

9 – 10:30 a.m.

Virtual or at SMIF

525 Florence Avenue Owatonna, MN 55060

Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) is hosting two free financial management workshops taught by Eric Stone of Stone’s Bookkeeping. Attend one or both trainings!

This workshop aims to demystify financial statements and empower you to make informed decisions for your business’s growth. Through this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • understand the three key financial statements and what each report reveals about your business’s financial health,
  • analyze profitability, liquidity and solvency to gauge your business’s performance,
  • and recognize patterns in your financial data that can indicate growth opportunities or areas that need attention.

Register by July 7 at 4:30 p.m.! RSVPs are required. Please note if you will be attending virtually or in person. If you have questions, please reach out to Lending Director Molly Bartels Roth at mollyb@smifoundation.org.

Thank you to our partner for making this event possible! Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
