Sponsorship Requests

Limited dollars are available to sponsor events within our region that support economic development, early childhood, community vitality and philanthropic efforts. In order to help promote your event we expect all sponsorship requests at least 60 days prior to the event taking place. Our average sponsorship award is $500. If you would like to make a sponsorship request, you may contact Sarah Scheffert, sarahs@smifoundation.org or 507-455-7015, with the details of your request and you will be connected with the appropriate program staff member. We may require you to fill out an application request and require all sponsorship awardees to provide a summary report after the event has taken place.
