Marcia has been with SMIF in the lending area for over 11 years. She is responsible for the operation of the Small Enterprise Loan Program, which includes pre-loan review and analysis, servicing loans, conducting site visits, as well as reporting responsibilities to SBA and auditing loan files ensuring compliance. Prior to joining the Foundation, Marcia’s background included 14 years of banking experience and a broad business background.

Marcia graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. In addition, Marcia has added to her knowledge with courses such as CoreFour Business Planning and Profit Mastery, and is a graduate of the Blandin Community Leadership Program.

She has been active in the Waseca area and has served on the Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library Board of Trustees and the Home and School Association for Sacred Heart School.

What is one of your favorite things about living in southern Minnesota?
Each area having many festivals/events. Hay Daze, Litomysl Festival, Kolachke Days, Fall Festival & Marching Band Classic to name a few.
