Veterans Highway 22 Memorial Project
A ONE DAY giving campaign will be held this Sunday, June 14, 2020 – Flag Day
Help us raise $24,000 in 24 Hours
In partnership with Wally & Bertha Frank Trust, Mapleton VFW Post #5338 and Mapleton Auxiliary
To support the Veterans Highway 22 Memorial Project, visit our donation page and under “Please direct my donation to” select “Victory Highway Monument Project”.
Our goal of $24,000 will be used to complete project payment, add historical timeline signage and install solar lighting. The recently passed CARES Act includes several charitable tax provisions to encourage giving. These include:
- Non-itemizers: If you make a gift to charity, you will be allowed to take a special tax deduction of up to $300 (single or married) to reduce your tax liability.
- Itemizers: An increase in the deduction limit up to 100% of a donor’s adjusted gross income for cash gifts (previously the deduction was capped at 60% of AGI).
